Possibilities

I love how the future is so full of possibilities. Looking at the way life is and the way I want it to be is a great reminder of how incredibly capable my Father in Heaven made me. There are so many different paths I could take and so many things left to achieve. Sometimes I wish there was more time to try them all. I often wonder where all those possibilities will take me and what options I'll be looking at ten years from now.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Very cool. I love the picture and it's good to see someone who loves the idea of possibilities rather than dreading the unknown. You are a brave soul.

Ya know, I've never read that poem all the way through. Beautiful. And I'm with Karen, I need to love the possibilities instead of dreading them to so much :-)

The possibilities are exciting, but sometimes thinking about them makes my head hurt.

I LOVE that poem, and the picture you put with it! I live for possibilities. Life would mean nothing without hopes and possibilities for the future.

Yes, possibilities are one of the amazing parts of life. One thing I've noticed about the crossroads in my life, especially the tough ones, are that Heavenly Father was there, with me, stronger than usual. He helps me not only choose the correct path, but to feel confident in the direction even though I also fear because I'm, well, human.
