Women wish to be loved not because they are pretty, or good, or well bred, or graceful, or intelligent, but because they are themselves.

Henri Frederic Amiel
1821-1881, Swiss Philosopher, Poet, Critic

We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."
Helen Keller

The weird quote tweeked my funny bone. I think that one could have been written for my husband and I.

Loved the quotes. Your first one reminded me of a line from one of my favorite movies, "Little Women." And the "weird" one . . .I wonder if one of us writers should write a book based on that idea.

The weirdness quote is my favorite. I put the others in since it seemed like I should have something serious when talking about love.
