I love books. As a little girl I would get up an hour before everyone else so I could read before Mom and Dad got out of bed. Now I just read whenever I have a free moment. I love escaping into a different world or seeing our world through someone else's eyes. Right now I'm looking forward to reading the Whitney nominees that I haven't already read. I love reading too. I was a late bloomer when it came to books, didn't read a lot in school, but once I got started I couldn't seem to stop. Now I always have one in my hand. I get so involved in the story, I can't sleep.
Great Post

Thanks for celebrating books! Have you ever thought that none of us would be who we are without them?
I'm wondering...are you like me and attempting to start your very own library in your house? Except I'm kind of fanatical about my books and don't like to loan them out. Does that make me a miser do you think?
Anyway, it is for the love of books that we do what we do. Great post.

Ahhh, books, what would we do without them?
That's exciting you get to be a part of the vote for the Whitney's!
I can't afford to buy the books when they first come out - generally. Although I do have "The Host" so I will be reading that one.
