The finalists for the Whitney Awards were announced this morning. Now I have a list of books I want to read before the end of March. Unlike, the academy awards when I don't recognize half the movies that win, I would like to read as many of these as I can before the awards Gala. I've already read a few. Here is the complete list of finalists. For more information about the awards check out their website: Whitney Awards.

That's quite a list to get through by March! I'm sure you'll appreciate the awards that much more if you manage it, though.
If you feel the need to write a summary of the books as you read them, feel free to forward them my way. :-)
That's a really comprehensive list! I can't wait to start reading some of them!
I've already read a few. I want to read as many as I can but can't afford to buy them all. Most of them are on hold at the library for me now, but those the library doesn't have, I'll have to buy if I want to read them. Good thing I am a fast reader.
