I follow you now and I love to read, because there's no better way to take a break from the real world with a fake world in which children aren't constantly wanting your attention and fighting with each other because you did one kid's hair before the other...

Hello!

I've subscribed to your blog via Google Reader. I like to read because it makes your world and possibilities endless. Through reading you can travel in time, space and all over the world, and live a thousand different lives, and that never fails to excite me.

Hi!
I'm the first commenter, I can see :) Well, I love reading because I like getting away from it all and most of the books I read have a totally different world where there's action and much more passion than in the real life. I miss it in my life but I can find some of it in the books :) That's why I'm such a big bookaholic, I think :)
Thank you so much for the giveaway - if I won, I would spend it all on books, that's for sure :)

I follow your blog.

Why do I like reading? I love entering worlds that are not my own and getting to know characters. I love imagining things and the stories allow me to do so. It's why I also like writing.

I like to read because I can go into another world or character's head and just live out a part of their lives. I also like seeing what is in the author's imaginations in sci-fi or fantasy books, and getting a glimpse of what the past was like or learning a little bit of history in historical novels.

Thank you for the giveaway.

Hi Stephanie. I'm already a follower on your blog. Answering your question is a little harder.

Why do I like to read? Might as well ask me why I like to breathe. It's part of my make-up, my deepest self, because I was read to as a child, then went on to read anything and everything I could and can, even cereal boxes.

I guess I like to read because I love stories and information. I'm a life-long learner, and being a very visual learner, reading is a natural way for me to be entertained and informed.

Thanks for the giveaway.

My email addy is mw1 at theriver dot com.

GFC Krystal Larson I love to read because it is my life -.- my dad taught me to read when I was 2-3 and I never stopped. I have cleared out library shelves and bought 10+ books on Amazon at a time much to my mother's chagrin. Reading takes my mind off of all the studying I have to do and lets me escape into a different world-I couldn't live without it. Thank you so much for the giveaway, I'd buy more books with it! edysicecreamlover18@gmailDOTcom

I have loved to read ever since i was a young girl. First it was about horses-Black Beauty- then I graduated to Romance and Vampires. Now I read just about anything. I love getting lost in the books for a few hours. It relaxes me.
