A Favorite Quote

This is the quote that hangs on the wall in my office.

"The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been before.

Creativity in living is not without its attendant difficulties, for peculiarity breeds contempt. And the unfortunate thing about being ahead of your time is that when people realize you were right, they'll say it was obvious all along.

You have two choices in life: you can dissolve in the mainstream, or you can be distinct. To be distinct, you must be different. To be different, you must strive to be what no one else but you can be. . ."

That is beautiful! I may have to hang that in my office too. Very inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing it. I needed some reminding today.

Hi! It's been awhile since I've been here, or other blogs for that matter. haha I'm so happy for you and your two novels! You're awesome!

I have put writing in the category of a dream, It's much more difficult to do, and I can never seem to write for more then a few minutes before I really disslike what or how I write. Or little ones in need of something or other. It's just become one big frustrating dream! I love it when I see people succeed in their dreams, and you are one of them! Good job!

My favorite quote: "We may not have it all together, but together we have it all."

Glad I could help Karen :)

It is good to see you back here Autumn. If you really want to write, keep at it. Only a few minutes a day will eventually produce a finished novel.
